Benefited from the recovery of textile industry, orders for textile machinery were enormous in the 1st half of 2010 and recorded a significant growth for both sales and production over last year. From January to May 2010, sales value of textile machinery grew 52.54% year-on-year to RMB32.225 billion. While sales income rose 50.82% to RMB32.478 billion and realized profit grew 286.13% to RMB1.842 billion. Meanwhile, export income grew 38.33% to USD625 million and import value grew 76.78% to USD1.492 billion. China textile industry is drawing widespread attention and generated huge business opportunities.

The 11th China (Yiwu) International Exhibition on Hosiery, Knitting, Dyeing & Finishing Machinery (herewith below "YIWU H&G") will be held on 24-26 November 2010 at Yiwu International Expo Center. Found in 2000, the show is China's 1st UFI approved hosiery, knitting and braiding machinery exhibition. It has been known as the most professional knitting machinery exhibition in China, especially on hosiery and seamless underwear machinery, receiving enormous support from the industry. Dr. Joseph Needham, who is the British historian of world science and technology, describes this revolutionary invention as "one of the four inventions that changed human life".
