The 9th China (Yiwu) International Exhibition on Hosiery, Knitting, Dyeing & Finishing Machinery, The 2nd China (Yiwu) International Exhibition on Narrow Fabric, Braiding & Garment Machinery and The 2nd China (Yiwu) International Exhibition on Knitting Yarns ("Yiwu H&G 2008") closed successfully on November 20, 2008 at China Commodity City Meihu Exhibition Centre, Yiwu City, PR China.

In Yiwu H&G 2008, 130 exhibitors from 9 countries/regions occupy 9,000 sqm of exhibiting area. 60% of exhibitors are from overseas, the proportion is able to walk the walk of its high degree of professionalism and internationalization. The 3-day fair attracts 4,000 visitors from local and international to attend and source. Some overseas visitors are revisiting the show for souring, and most local visitors are serious buyers. According to the figures, most visitors are of high quality and coming from knitted lingerie & underwear industry, knitted clothing industry, yarns manufacturing, braiding, trimmings / narrow fabric industry, glove industry, hosiery industry etc. This further revels the high acceptance and recognition from the industries.

In general, exhibitors satisfy with the fair and visitors' quality. They also express that many visitors are serious buyers, onsite orders are confirmed and lots of enquiries are received. Overall speaking, Yiwu H&G succeed in constructing a platform for business and professional exchange between exhibitors and visitors.

Visitor survey is conducted every year to understand the visitors' sourcing behavior, this year, over 80% interviewees think the fair is good, nearly 75% interviewees express that the great reward of visit is "updated technology and new products' information", over 30% claims that there is high chance of closing the deal, and 40% will follow up with exhibitors. The fair is able to demonstrate itself as the bridge for business and industrial information exchange.

Since its inception in 2000, Yiwu H&G is the hardcore exhibition in Yiwu City. It is also the first UFI approved knitting and braiding exhibition in China, the Top Ten Zhejiang Province Exhibition and the Top Seven Yiwu City Exhibition. Yiwu H&G is jointly organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zhejiang Sub-Council, China Commodities City Group Co. Ltd.. The show receives great support from co-organizers, Yiwu China Commodities City Exhibition Co.
